Legolas Greenleaf – J.R.R. Tolkien

Was the son of Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm of Northern Mirkwood, Thranduil ruled over the Silvan Elves or "Wood-elves" of Mirkwood. Although he lived among the Silvan Elves, Legolas was not one himself. His father Thranduil had originally come from Lindon; he and his son were actually Sindar, or "Grey Elves", called in the singular Sinda; "Sindarin" was their language.
Legolas after the destruction of the ring of power has founded a colony of elves in Ithilien and after the death of Aragon started to Valinor with Gimli, their last trip.

Legolas is my favorite character, with Gimli, their love-hate relationship that is truly a great inspiration. I really enjoyed reading that after the destruction of the one ring continued to travel together.

Does not is a portrait of "Legolas" in the movie "Lord of the Rings" but invented a representation inspired by it. Does not is a portrait of Orlando Bloom.

I tried to represent as Legolas in "Lord of the Rings" and the description of the book inspired the film. Part of the installation was inspired by a work by an artist from DA.
